Íslenska ofurkonan
A visual exploration based on my BA thesis topic. The subject of both the thesis and the visual research was 
the idea of the Icelandic superwoman. The outcome was a poster, book pages, and a video. By referencing 
glossy imagery, over-decorated cakes, and adjectives often used to describe superwomen and “acceptable” 
femininity, I aim to shed light on the absurdity of the unrealistic expectations placed on women’s shoulders.
