Lítill refur á vetrardegi

My graduation project at the Iceland University of the Arts was to write, illustrate, and design a children’s book.
The clouds pass before the sun, the rain pours down, the wind blows, calm returns, and then it starts to snow — all
in a single day. Little Fox on a Winter’s Day is a book intended for preschool-aged children. It tells the story of a small
fox traveling through a landscape of mountains and moss in the Icelandic countryside. The fox observes how the weather
shifts back and forth. The sky and the land change color, and the fox feels the changes of the weather on its own skin.
Even when the wind blows or the rain and sleet arrive, the weather always passes. The book’s cover is silkscreen printed,
and the pages are hand-bound together. The binding thread was hand-dyed blue.
